Boil the potatoes and mash them. Add the crumbled feta cheese, cream, black pepper and a little salt if needed. Stir well. Now it's time to make the bechamel.
Heat the butter and 1 tbsp oil in a pot, add the flour and braise briefly, pour in a little of the cold milk and stir nonstop to obtain a smooth mixture. Add salt and nutmeg.
In a square tray, pour in a little oil and arrange the boiled and chopped egg halves in it. Distribute the potato mixture on top, make holes in it with a fork.
Pour on the bechamel, sprinkle on a little grated cheese and put it in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven for 30 min. Let the dish cool a bit, then cut it and enjoy.
It tastes great warm or cool. Goes excellent with a glass of cold beer!
