Beat the yeast in 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml) warm milk, the sugar and 2 tbsp flour. Leave it to bubble.
Sift the flour, mix it with the salt, baking powder, sour cream, oil, remaining milk and effervescent yeast.
Knead a soft and stretchy dough, cover it with a towel and leave it for 1 hour to rise.
The resulting dough is ideal for making doughy snacks, pizzas, pitas, cozonacs, scones and other bakery goods.
