Airy Fritters with Milk

  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • yeast - 1 packet, dry
  • eggs - 2
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • oil - 3 tbsp + some for frying
  • flour


Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add the sugar and 1-2 tbsp flour. Leave the mixture to bubble. Sift about 2 1/2 cups (600 g) of flour (or more if needed), make a well.

Pour the mixture into the well and add the eggs, salt and oil. Stir, then gradually begin to knead. Knead a soft dough.

Cover with foil and leave in a warm area to double in volume. Heat up the oil. Tear 12-13 balls from the dough and stretch them out to form fritters.

Fry in the oil on both sides until golden. Serve with ayran and your favorite jam or feta cheese.find similar recipes here
