How to cook
Season the steaks with salt and black pepper to taste. Cut the mushrooms and smoked cheese into thin slices.
In a glass cook pot, arrange a layer of mushrooms, a steak, cheese, mushrooms, cheese, meat and so on until out of ingredients.
If making a larger number of servings, you can put 2-3 steaks next to each other and at least 1 more layer on top. Pour in the milk (to cover the cheese), put the lid on and bake in a 460°F (235 °C) oven for about 1 hour.
