How to make

Wash the vegetables and pack tightly in jars or other suitable containers.

Next, boil a brine from the salt and water only.

Leave it to cool a bit, then pour it over the vegetables.

Then close the container and press down with a wooden X and stone. Decant it every other day throughout the next 2 weeks.
