Toasty Peppers in Sweet-and-Sour Sauce

  • chili peppers - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg)
  • vinegar - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • sugar - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • salt - to taste
  • dill - 2 bunches
  • garlic - 2 - 3 heads


Grill the peppers very briefly on both sides. Mix the sugar with vinegar and salt to taste. Put it on the stove to boil. Boil until the sugar melts.

Put the peppers in a bowl. To them add the chopped dill and chopped garlic cloves. Pour the hot marinade over them. Stir well and leave to cool.

Pack the peppers in jars and pour the marinade over them (if you don't have enough, make more). Close the jars and store them in a cool and dry area.find similar recipes here
