Cut the ribs into pieces. Mix the olive oil with the spices and smear the meat with this. Clean the onions and cut them into crescents.
Put the onions in a tray, then the ribs on top. Salt and pour in the broth.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil. Bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven for an hour, then remove the foil, turn the meat over, stir the onions and bake another 20 min. without foil.
You can serve them with tarator, rice or sauteed vegetables.
