Knead the mince with the spices. Add 1 of the eggs and knead again. Shape 4 large, flat meatballs and arrange them in an oven dish that you've oiled ahead of time.
Make a well in the middle of each nest and put pieces of ham and mushrooms. You can add corn, olives, pickles, peppers or whatever other filling you like.
Bake in the oven until the mince is visibly ready. Then add an egg in the middle of each nest and return to the oven until the eggs are ready.
Depending on the oven, you can bake on the top element only.
Optionally, make a sauce from the remaining ingredients and serve it with the nests. They go perfect with a fresh green salad as well.
