Ingredients

  • pumpkins - 2 lb (1 kg), cleaned
  • butter - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • water - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

Preparation

Cut the cleaned pumpkin into small cubes.

Put them in a suitable baking container, cut the butter into thin strips and lay them over the pumpkin pieces.

Sprinkle with sugar (based on taste you can increase or decrease the amount used) and pour on the water.

Put it in the oven at 428°F (220 °C) and bake until the water evaporates.
