How to cook
Peel the onion and chop it finely, braise it in the oil until softened.
In the meantime, clean the peppers and chop them finely. Once the onion softens, add the peppers.
Chop the ham finely, add it, fry until the onions are ready and the peppers are reddened and softened.
Meanwhile, cut out the middles of the bread slices (save them) and grate the cheese.
Once the onion, pepper and ham mixture is ready, take it out and in its place put the forms made from 2 slices of bread. Fill with 1/6 of the mixture and 1/6 of the beaten eggs.
Braise the mixture until hardened, then sprinkle 1/6 of the grated cheese over the 2 slices, place the cap from the middle of the bread slices on top and flip them over, to braise the cap.
Repeat for the other 4 bread slices.
Serve the sandwiches warm and season with salt and black pepper as desired.
