How to cook
Cut the chicken meat into medium-sized bites and saute briefly in a pan with a little oil and water. After they're sauteed, transfer to a clay pot.
In their place, saute the onions, sliced mushrooms and peppers chopped into medium pieces. Once the veggies are fried a bit, add the white wine.
After the wine evaporates a bit, add the blended tomatoes and cook briefly. Season the sauce with salt, black pepper and thyme. Pour in a little water, stir and transfer to the clay pot with the meat.
Optionally, you can add 1 whole chili pepper. Bake the kavarma for 30-40 min. on high heat. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
