Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla until the sugar dissolves.
Add the oil and stir. Grate the rind of 1 lemon.
Sift the flour, add the baking powder and baking soda.
Pour the mixture into a greased oven dish, sprinkled with a little flour.
Bake in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven to a nice, golden color.
Make the syrup in a pot by boiling the ingredients for it. The revani needs to have cooled and the syrup warm when pouring it on top.
