How to cook
Clean the cabbage and chop it into strips. Heat the oil, braise the chopped pieces of ribs first. This provides the dish a fuller aroma.
Add the finely chopped onions and the cabbage strips, rubbed together with salt. Braise until the cabbage shrinks in volume.
Add the chopped tomatoes, without the seeds, and stir with the paprika. Pour in water to cover the products, sprinkle oregano and fresh, finely chopped parsley.
Transfer the cabbage and ribs to an oven dish. Bake in a preheat 356°F (180 °C) oven until ready - until they're left to cook in just oil. Serve with a chili pepper as the final touch.
