Beat the egg with the sugar until whitened. Then add the milk and oil. Beat everything well. Next, add the flour with baking soda.
Pour the resulting mixture into an oiled tray and floured tray. Bake at 356°F (180 °C).
Dissolve the sugar in the warm milk. Once the cake is ready and cooled, invert it into a plate or platter, poke holes in it with a fork and pour on the syrup.
Finally, sprinkle with coconut flakes.
