Pour 2 cups water over the rice and boil until semi-cooked, then drain off the remaining water.
Clean the pumpkin of the rind and seeds, dice it.
Put the pumpkin in an oven dish, distribute the rice on top.
Sprinkle with sugar and stir carefully.
Heat the milk slightly, dissolve the honey in it, then pour this over the pumpkin. Cut pieces of butter on top.
Put the oven dish with the dessert in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven and bake about 40 min.
