How to cook
Pour water into a large pot and leave it to boil, put the whole chicken in and add salt. Leave to come to a boil again and remove the foam if needed.
Once the chicken is nearly ready, add the finely chopped onions and grated carrots.
Leave to boil for 10 min., take the chicken out, add the vermicelli, black pepper, savory and crumbled chicken broth cubes.
Remove the chicken's skin, debone it, tear it into small pieces, return the meat to the pot and leave for 2-3 min. to come to a boil again. Serve the soup sprinkled with fresh parsley.
