  • pork ribs - 31.5 oz (900 g) (breast meat)
  • soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • ketchup - 3 tbsp
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • savory - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • thyme - 1 tsp
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • salvia - 1 tsp
  • beer - 4/5 cup (200 ml)


Peel and mash the garlic cloves, put them in a bowl and add the soy sauce, olive oil and ketchup. Stir and add all the dry spices, stir again.

Cut the ribs into roughly identical pieces. Put them in a tray and pour the marinade over them. Rub it into the meat well with your hands to season.

Cover the tray with foil and leave in the fridge for a few hours. Once the meat has marinated, remove the foil and pour in the beer. Cover with foil again and put in a preheated 392°F (200 °C) oven for 1 hour.

After an hour, lower the heat to 356°F (180 °C), remove the foil and bake for another 30 min. to a golden-brown crisp. Serve with a garnish of potatoes, vegetable puree or green salad.find similar recipes here
