- pig - 1 pig (about 11 lb (5 kg) - 13 lb (6 kg) ), without giblets
- lard - 1/3 cup (80 g)
- tomato paste - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 g)
- pepper - to taste
Clean and wash the pig and sprinkle well with salt and crushed pepper.
Skewer the pig length- wise, smear with grease and some of the tomato paste. Sprinkle the outside with salt and pepper, then roast.
Cover the roasting pig with the rest of the lard.
