- quinces and apples - 3 lb (1.3 kg) total
- sugar - 4 1/5 cups (1 kg)
- citric acid - 1 tsp
Skin the quinces and apples and remove their seeds. Grate them on the coarse side of a grater.
Sprinkle the fruits with sugar and citric acid and stir well.
Immediately put in jars. Sterilize for 90 minutes.
