How to cook
Grate the pumpkin coarsely into a bowl and add the sugar, stir.
Take a phyllo pastry sheet, sprinkle with 2 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp of the pumpkin mixture. Place a 2nd sheet on top of the 1st and another 2 tbsp of mixture, sprinkle oil. Wrap the sheets into a roll, arrange the roll in a spiral in an oiled tray.
Repeat for all of the sheets, arrange them in a circle. In the very middle of the tray, arrange the slices of pumpkin, sprinkle sugar evenly on top.
Put the tray in a preheated 356°F (180 °C) oven and bake until golden.
The end result is the tastiest pumpkin pie because it takes in the juice from the pumpkin and sugar!
