Bake the onions and mash them. Braise the pieces of turkey meat in oil, add 3/4 of the onions, salt, paprika, black pepper to taste and the bay leaf.
Pour on the tomato juice and wine. Saute for 30 min. Put the sauerkraut in the fat released from the turkey meat, add a little tomato paste, the sugar and the rest of the mashed and braised onions.
Saute until softened. Serve with the sauce and sauteed sauerkraut.
