How to cook
Put the milk and cream on the stove and heat it to just below boiling point.
In the meantime, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla until the mixture whitens. Take the mixture off the stove and start adding it slowly to the egg yolk mixture while stirring energetically at the same time.
Return the mixture to the stove briefly on low heat while stirring nonstop. Leave the mixture to cool.
Pour the cooled mixture into the ice cream maker and make it as instructed. Add chocolate chips at the end.
