  • rice - 2 cups (500 g) long grain
  • glutamate - 1/4 tsp
  • oil - 2 tbsp
  • salt


Wash the rice 4-5 times with cold water. Allow to drain. Pour it into a wok and add water so that its level is 1″ (2.5 cm) above the rice. Put it to boil.

Stir once and then reduce the heat. Cover and leave to cook for 5-7 minutes.

Remove and place in a broad plate, so that it can cool down. Sprinkle with the glutamate.

Heat the oil in the wok, add the rice and fry for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add salt and fry for another 1-2 minutes. Serve hot immediately.

For flavor, you can add a few mushrooms or vegetables.
