Soft Cookies for Easter

  • eggs - 1
  • pork lard - 1 1/4 cups
  • powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • vanilla - 1
  • flour - 2 cups (500 g)
  • jam - 1 jar, cherry
  • powdered sugar - to - sprinkle


Beat the egg well. To it add the softened lard and stir.

Then add the powdered sugar to them and flavor with the vanilla.

Stir well and add the sifted flour to knead a soft dough.

Form balls the size of a walnut, put 1 cherry from the jam in each.

Shape small balls the size of a button.

Place the larger balls in a tray, the smaller ones on top of them, press lightly.

Place in the oven and bake until ready.

Take them out and sprinkle them with powdered sugar while still warm.
