Wash the pig ears. Put them to boil if needed but keep an eye on to make sure you don't over-boil them. Take them out and cut into strips.
Pour a little oil and the chopped ears in a tray. Sprinkle with paprika and salt.
Stir the soy sauce with about 1/2 cup water and the sugar + a little all purpose spice (optional).
Pour the sauce over the ears and put them in the oven. Bake until ready. Serve with mixed spices.
