Wash the meat and cut it into portions. Braise the bits in heated oil to a caramel crust.
Add the paprika to braise briefly, salt the meat lightly.
Add the chopped sauerkraut. Pour in 2 cups water and leave to saute for 15-20 min.
Pour everything into a tray and place in the oven. Bake at 392°F (200 °C) for 40 min.
Season the ready dish with black pepper.
