How to cook
Wash the chicken well and dry. Make a mixture of warmed honey, rose water, lemon juice, oil, salt, cayenne pepper and cardamom.
At the bottom of a baking dish place foil. Place the chicken on it, smear it thoroughly inside and out with the honey mixture and sprinkle with chopped almonds.
Cover with foil and pinch both ends of the sheets.
Bake in a moderately heated oven for about 45 min. Remove the upper foil and bake another 25 minutes, turning it often and basting it with the sauce, to get a golden color.
Slice into portions after it cools slightly.
