Raw Bonbons with Dates

  • walnuts - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • hazelnuts - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g)
  • dates - a handful (about 15)
  • honey - 2 tablespoons
  • coconut flakes - for rolling in
  • cocoa - mixed with a little cinnamon (for rolling in)


Blend the walnuts with the hazelnuts in a blender. Be careful not to blend too finely because it'll be hard to shape balls later.

Put the nuts in a bowl. Remove the pits from the dates and blend them. Pour in the honey and blend once more. Pour the nuts on top.

You can knead them by hand to obtain a mixture from which to form the balls. Roll them in coconut flakes or cocoa mixed with a little cinnamon.
