How to cook
Select ripe plums, wash and remove their stems and pits. Boil the plums in a little water until soft, then drain and rub them through a colander or sieve.
Boil the resulting mixture on medium heat, while stirring with a spatula. When the syrup begins to thicken, add the sugar. Continue boiling until the mixture thickens.
Shortly before removing it from the heat, add the geranium. Distribute the jam into jars when cooled, then seal and sterilize for 30 minutes. Store in a cool, dry place.
