How to cook
Clean and wash, then rub the pork with salt and pepper. Fry the chopped cabbage with crushed onions and butter.
Add cabbage to the pieces of bacon or ham. Fry it all together and flavor with salt and pepper. The piglet is filled and sewn. Cover the outside with oil and bake until ready in a moderately heated oven.
Upon serving, the mouth of the Christmas pig is stuffed with a red apple, or lemon. Decorate with grated horseradish and parsley twigs.
