Ingredients

  • pork leg - 24.5 oz (700 g)
  • honey - 3 tablespoons
  • olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • marinade
  • soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • brandy - 1 tablespoon
  • salt
  • black pepper - to taste
  • spice mix - 1 tablespoon, for barbecue
  • lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon

How to cook

Mix the products for the marinade in a bowl. Cut the meat into steaks and put them in the bowl. Leave in the fridge to marinate 2 hours.

Put the meat in a tray, pour in any remaining marinade, cover with aluminum foil and smother the meat at 356°F (180 °C) for 60 min.

Pour liquid honey in another bowl and stir it with the olive oil. Take the tray out of the oven, remove the foil and smear each piece of meat with the marinade using a brush.

Return to the oven for 15 min. without foil to obtain a nice brown crisp.
