Ingredients

  • game meat - 28 oz (800 g), wild boar (leg is preferable)
  • potatoes - 3 large
  • carrots - 2
  • peas - 1 cup, frozen
  • onions - 1 head
  • vegetable mix - 1 jar, canned (tomatoes, carrots, eggplants, peppers)
  • allspice - 3 grains
  • bay leaf - 2
  • black pepper - 5 - 6 grains
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • broth - 2 cubes for veal ribs
  • water - 1 cup

How to cook

Cut the meat into medium-sized pieces. Take a clay tray or if you don't have one use a clay pot or regular tray.

Smear tray with oil and put the coarsely chopped potatoes in it, roundly sliced carrots, chopped into crescents onions and the peas.

Then add the vegetable mix from the jar. Stir everything. Add the allspice, bay leaf, black pepper, paprika and crumble in the broth cubes.

Stir everything well to distribute the spices. Arrange the meat pieces on top and pour in 1 cup water.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake 90 min. Remove the foil and bake another 30-35 min. until ready.
