Ingredients

  • lamb meat - leg or clod
  • potatoes - 3.5 lb (1.5 kg), fresh
  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons, light
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • honey - 2 tablespoons
  • black pepper - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • salt - 1 tablespoon

Preparation

Make a paste from the mashed garlic, honey, soy sauce, 1/2 the butter, black pepper, paprika, 1/2 the salt and smear the meat generously with it.

Wash the potatoes and arrange them in a deep tray, salt them and add the remaining butter.

Put the meat on top and pour 1 1/2 cups water, cover with foil and bake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and baste the meat with the released sauce, finish baking until the meat is ready, basting it at least one more time.
