  • milk - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 1 1/3 cups (325 g)
  • caramel
  • sugar - 1 cup (225 g)
  • water - 2 tablespoons


Beat the eggs very well. Pour the milk in a separate container, heat it in the microwave, pour the eggs to it in a thin trickle, while stirring nonstop. Add the sugar and stir again until it dissolves.

Prepare the creme caramel bowls: arrange them in a tray. You're going to have to pour hot water into it right before you distribute the actual caramel in the bowls.

Now make the caramel: put the sugar and water on the stove and stir to prevent burning.

Once caramel is ready, distribute into the bowls but don't forget that you have to pour in hot water in the tray before you do this.

Once you've poured the caramel in at the bottom of the bowls, top off with the egg mixture (don't overfill them).

Bake in a preheated oven about 1 hour 20 min. The temperature must not be too high, so that the water doesn't boil.
