How to cook
Mix the oil, milk, egg, ammonium bicarbonate and salt in a bowl.
Beat the mixture well and while gradually adding flour, knead a moderately hard dough.
Allow the dough to rest for 2 hours, then roll it into a sheet with a thickness of approximately 1/4″ (0.5 cm) and cut out pretzel sticks with a wavy knife.
Coat them with the beaten egg, sprinkle with caraway seeds and put them to bake until they have a nice light tan.
