Pour the mixture into a greased and floured form and bake until ready. For the buttercream, beat the butter and sugar very well, divide it into 2 parts. To one add the vanilla and to the other, the fresh egg yolks, and mix each of them.
Divide the cooled cake layer carefully into two. Smear 2/5 cup (100 ml) sugar syrup on them.
Glue the two layers together with the yellow cream and smear the white cream on top. Make a decoration of your choice - you can sprinkle with nuts or chocolate glaze and arrange fruits.
